Job Details:
This position works in the Emergency Room Department registering patients arriving via air ambulance/ground amulence, and of through ambulatory urgent care. The successful candidate obtains and documents demographic, insurance and clinical data, collects co-pays and/or insurance deductibles and places timely referrals to financial counselors to assure an accurate and smooth registration, pre-admission and/or admission process and provides optimal customer satisfaction. This position requires some rotating daytime hours, along with rotating weekends.
Minimum
Qualifications: High school graduate with 2 years of experience required.Additional education is preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Must possess computer skills and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills are expected.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
