8+yrs in the industry
Software Project Management experience - 3 years minimum - running a project (w/4
FTE''s)
Software development background - done software development in the real world (not academic), understands the software development process (FYI, our GUI is in Java and our backend is in C++)
Formal education in Project Management (through either a recognized program or part of a degree)
PMP or equivalent certification
Communication skills
It is a plus if you have experience in:
CFD
Hard Engineering background, such as in CAE (simulation, co-simulation, CAE integration)
Computational Mathematics
Working with remote teams
Working with external third party suppliers
Scrum Master
Background in technical or scientific software (engineering/physics)
