Academic Emergency Radiologist

Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH in conjunction with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth are seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained multi-modality radiologist for an overnight emergency radiology service in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
This full-time faculty position is for an individual with a strong interest in teaching and/or research. Responsibilities will include performance and interpretation of the full range of emergency imaging studies including neuroradiology studies, MRI, ultrasound and the supervision of minor procedures. The Emergency Radiology Section will be responsible for developing an educational curriculum and will be actively supervising and teaching radiology residents, medical students and learners from other departments. A focus on high quality clinical work and service is paramount. The position requires the radiologists to be on-site in Lebanon, NH. The individual hired will work one week on and two weeks off, with occasional daytime shifts.
The successful candidate will join an academic practice with more than 30 radiologists. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state. Facilities include four state-of-the-art CT scanners, five clinical MR scanners including two Siemens Skyra 3.0T systems and a GE Discovery 750 3.0T system.
Academic rank and compensation will be consistent with experience and medical center policies. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
