Job Details:
Performs a variety of functions regarding the billing information of patients and making sure all accounts are kept up to date. Excellent customer service focus, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines This position interacts with patients in person, over the phone, and at bedside, so the ability and desire to work with a wide variety of people is important in this role. Someone who enjoys variety and flexibility is important to this role.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associates Degree with 2 years of hospital admissions, pre-admission, insurance verification, billing, or credit work experience required.
Proven experience effectively working with the public is essential.
Previous experience working in a medical setting and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Experience with computer applications required as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
