Job Details:
Identifies, evaluates, and controls occupational and environmental stressors at D-H. Assists in the development, implementation, and coordination of occupational health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with State, Federal, JCAHO, and D-H regulations, standards, policies, and directives.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering or a related field with 5 years of industrial hygiene and safety experience.
Background in health care is highly desirable.
Previous training experience and excellent communication skills desired.
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations required.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
Professional certifications associated with safety, occupational health, or environmental protection professions are highly desired.
