Job Details:
Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a clinical chaplain to join a team of seven professional chaplains in a well-established and growing department. Responsibilities include personal support and pastoral care for patients and families; organization and implementation of spiritual support programs for patients, families, and staff; participation in provision of on-call coverage for emergency situations; timely and accurate clinical documentation; collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team; participation in departmental program planning and implementation; and active participation in educational and mentoring programs, including support for Clinical Pastoral Education and community education programs.
In addition to usual requirements for staff chaplain, this individual must be current and expert in spiritual care within interdisciplinary palliative care teams with interests and abilities in education and mentoring. Skills and interests in research desired.
MINIMUM EDUCATION &
Experience: Master of Divinity degree or the equivalent, with 3 years of experience in a parish or institutional ministry. Certified (preferred) or eligible for certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains; the National Association of Catholic Chaplains; Neshama: Association of Jewish Chaplains; or a comparable cognate group. Ordination or other recognition of ministry relevant to applicant's affiliation, and endorsement for Chaplaincy by an appropriate denominational endorsing body required. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
