Must have experience caring for patients after Vascular, Thoracic, Colorectal and General Surgery.
Must have experience with Chest Tubes, Tubes, Drips, Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, Trachs/Laryngectomies, Telemetry, Complex wounds, Central Lines care and maintenance and blood draws.
Must be able to float.
Additional Information:
The most common diagnosis on their unit:
ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsis.
LNA ratios to patients:
1:
7-11 (unit shares with PCU).
RN Patient ratios on days is 4:
1 and on nights is 5:
1.
