Administrative Assistant

Our client, a leading Upper Valley Manufacturing Employer is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team on 1st shift ( am to 4:
30pm).
Seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join the HR team as an Administrative and HR Support Associate.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative, customer service, production control support, and HR support tasks.
No prior HR experience is required, as training will be provided for the HR-related functions.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent support to our employees.
This position provides general administrative support to the HR team, senior leadership, and the plant manager with a focus on communication, staffing, HR data and record keeping.
The HR Administrative Assistant is the first point-of-contact for associate inquiries and functions with a high level of customer service orientation and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Administer facility visitors, including check-in, providing necessary information, and ensuring a positive experience.
Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
Manage incoming mail and distribute it to the respective recipients promptly.
Assist employees with various HR-related needs, such as benefits enrollment, payroll inquiries, and policy clarification.
Perform accurate data entry using Microsoft Excel, maintaining databases and records efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service to employees and external stakeholders, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Support associates in person, addressing their queries, providing guidance, and facilitating their needs effectively.
Requirements:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Preferred background in customer service and administration, showcasing your ability to handle diverse tasks efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees and Management Teams.
Experience with SAP is beneficial, but not mandatory as we provide training.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities effectively.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
