OverviewParticipate in a one-year postgraduate training program that involves both didactic and clinical curricula.
Provide healthcare to individuals and families.
Assess and manage the health care needs and issues within specialty area, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
Function as part of the provider team to deliver the highest quality and safest patient care in a variety of settings.
May assume primary responsibility for patient care.
Responsibilities Participate in all aspects of the didactic and clinical curriculum of the postgraduate training program.
Abide by the Dartmouth-Hitchcock ByLaws for the Professional Staff and Code of ConductObtain comprehensive or focused history and perform physical examDetermine and order appropriate screening and diagnostic tests and studiesObtain informed consent for treatment diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and studiesInterpret and evaluate test and study resultsDevelop and implement treatment plans based on relevant findingsPrescribe medications, treatments and medical devices in accordance within specialty scope of practice and applicable rules and regulationsInitiate referrals to other providers as necessaryInitiate admission/discharge of patients (PAs do not have admitting privileges)Provide consultation to patients in accordance within specialty scope of practiceComplete appropriate documentationProvide patient and family centered careProvide education and counseling regarding the management of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
Encourage behavioral change and assist with self-management skills to improve overall health, within specialty scope of practiceDemonstrate advocacy that insure the patient's right to privacy, confidentiality and informed consentAssume responsibility to maintain PA licensure; national certification, and DEA registrationAttend continuing education programs to ensure ongoing professional growth and developmentMaintain current Physician Delegation AgreementPerform other duties as required or assigned To confidentially learn details, please contact:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
