random number generation) for the purpose of power calculations.
Wrangles data using R, Python or other data programming language.
Conducts exploratory analyses to identify discrepant data.
Data analysis including exploratory analysis, statistical inference and modeling, and some bioinformatics, Determines the need for missing data methods such as multiple imputation.
Uses statistical models such as linear regression, logistic regression, Poisson regression and conduct statistical inference.
Conducts time-to-event analyses (e.
g.
overall survival and recurrence free survival) using Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression models.
Percentage Of Time 50 Description Dissemination/Research Activities Preparation of statistical and design plans for research proposals Write statistical methods for abstracts and manuscripts.
Write the results sections of abstracts and manuscripts in collaboration with study investigators.
Seek guidance when needed from director of cancer center biostatistics service center and biostatistics faculty.
Responsive to researchers seeking statistical expertise.
