Manufacturing Manager

Company Name:
Insight Recruitment
Our client, a leading FMCG organisation, currently seeks a Manufacturing Manager, to join their expanding regional team.

Based in Beirut, this is a leadership manufacturing role when you will lead a total factory operation of 300 people and more than 10 production lines. The products made are highly complex food and beverages so you would be involved in a complicated food manufacturing process and you would manage a team of managers covering quality assurance, production and food safety and quality. You will report to the Managing Director for Lebanon which is a key market locally and for export markets. In this role, you would set and lead the vision for the plant and we need someone with deep technical food knowledge as well as exceptional people leadership. The manufacturing operation is highly complex and covers a number of food sub categories so you would need to provide technical leadership to people of varying capability. You will be someone who leads the culture, people engagement and processes for the total remote site. From an operational perspective, you will lead the total operation and as such the typical plant management in terms of lines, people, technical decisions and sourcing will be a critical part of this role.

As the ideal candidate, there are a few must haves. You must be degree educated with a background in engineering, you must have food and/or beverages plant management experience and obviously be someone who has led a large plant operation. You will have a track record in a pure FMCG environment, ideally at a plant/factory manager level for the past 2 years and would most likely have 10-12 years manufacturing FMCG experience. Given the location and local package, you would be a Lebanese national and those outside of Lebanon looking to comeback home would be welcome to apply as well. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
