Job Details:
The Coding Advisor assumes responsibility for coding education activities with provider groups. Coding Advisors work closely with assigned clinical sections to support documentation and coding for all professional and hospital outpatient activity.
MINIMUM EDUCATION &
Experience: Associates degree with a minimum of 3 years of coding experience or the equivalent required. A background in a multi-specialty academic coding setting preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) with all levels of staff required. Attention to detail essential. CPC,CPC-Hor CCS-P certification required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
