Job Details:
Responsible for development and oversight of the Patient Deterioration Detection Program. Responsible for strategic planning, budget development, operations organization and management required to achieve program goals. Provides technical and operational expertise for implementation science innovation throughout the D-H system.
STRONG INTERNAL CANDIDATE
Oversees strategic planning related to patient state detection, prediction and notification systems support and operation. Oversees development and implementation of processes related to operation and maintenance of patient state detection, prediction and notification systems throughout D-H.
Serves as Chair of the Physiologic Monitoring Subcommittee, reporting to the D-H Safety Committee.
Develops and oversees implementation of system-wide programs to meet regulatory standards related to alarm management for physiologic monitoring systems.
Serves as Technical Director of the Patient Deterioration Prediction Laboratory, responsible for strategic planning, and deterioration detection program development, implementation and operations.
Uses advanced technical knowledge and experience related development of physiologic monitoring, pattern recognition techniques, algorithm development, and complex system analysis, develops grant proposals for innovation and research efforts related to patient state detection, prediction and notification systems.
Promotes development and implementation of patient state determination, detection, and notification through peer-reviewed publications, and national and international venues.
Monitors, and reports expenditures, revenues, and ROI reporting related to physiologic monitoring systems and deterioration detection activities.
Collaborates with care providers, directors, managers and other stakeholders to identify and develop strategic growth opportunities.
Selects, assigns, directs, evaluates, and promotes/terminates personnel, manages payroll and personnel affairs of all staff, and provides information for financial analyses and proposals for new position requests.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in biomedical engineering or related field, with 10 years of systems design, research or related experience required.
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills required.
Prior experience in an academic healthcare setting preferred, particularly experience working with the hospitals in our region.
Must be able to work effectively with a broad range of people.
Enthusiasm for the entrepreneurial aspects of building a new outreach program within a very clinical organization is critical.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
LSS Blackbelt recommendedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
